The aim of the study was to obtain the transcriptome profile of roots and leaves of Baccharis sarothroides under two conditions: from plants growing in a mine tailing, and under soil natural conditions, and to perform a comparison to find those genes related with the tolerance mechanisms of this Asteracea that allows it to grow under very stressful conditions.
